Mine had the issue prior to the Magnaflow swap but is MUCH more noticeable with the Magnaflow. I have MDS turned off with Superchips and the truck is great now, no mpg change in city and rural driving. Long hwy trips I lost about 2 mpg but I rarely ever take long hwy trips so that's irrelevant to me.

mine is a completely stock 2010 sport and i have the issue...only happens between 38-45mph under slight load, as soon as the mds goes off no issue...its almost like the transmission is struggling keeping the truck moving....the feeling is very similar to when my torque converter went out in my F150 years back. Its not horrible, my passengers dont notice it at all but you can definitely feel it in the gas pedal and a little in the steering wheel. I think a new program with shift points and rpm requirements when MDS is engaged would clear the problem...i just wish i knew for sure what was vibrating and hoping its just the exhaust.

For those of you having issues, did you have the problem prior to swapping out exhaust systems?

Your "Fuel Saver" light has nothing to do with the MDS
The light was designed to tell you that you are driveing in a sensable feul saving manner.
Read your operator`s manuel, as it will tell you about it and its operation

AMEN...!!!!!!!
Matt3...
Sometimes i really dont think other people understand the concept that by making the exhaust louder will also enhance an issue that is already there. You pretty much explained it all in your thread....THANKYOU...! Now i hope people get the picture more clearly, about why they think it got worse by modding their exhaust.

The ONLY time my fuel saver light comes on is with MDS being activated.I've watched it for 26 thousand miles and never have I had a fuel saver light on that it wasn't in four cylinder/MDS mode.

Manual says this:
The FUEL SAVER MODE message will display above the
average fuel economy in the EVIC display. This message
will appear whenever MDS (if equipped) allows the
engine to operate on four cylinders, or if you are driving
in a fuel efficient manner.

But I agree - on my 09 it is only on when the MDS is on.

I read that before but have found its ONLY when MDS is activated. With my exhaust I know when it goes into MDS and that is the ONLY time I ever see FUEL SAVER.

I have the shudder in my 09 sport.. I can really feel it when there is a light load on the truck. I have noticed that the Superchips programmer makes it slightly worse, nothing drastically different form the stock tune. I have been bumping the shifter to 5th when I drive in town to keep it from annoying me. If you give the truck more gas than needed it is smoother than if you try to just lightly accelerate. dodge should address this, it's got to be in their programming I would think.

Is this a shudder from torque converter on lock up? Or from the torque converter in general? I have seen and dealt with torque converter shudder on other vehicles light throttle in the past. Was either a torque convert issue due to mechanical issue or a fluid issue.
