With the added weight up front, your front tires willl usually have enough traction for all you need. A pair on the rear is the way I would go. For on road use this should be more than enough. Being from Montana and Alaska, I cannot imagine having to chain up a 4X4 for road use unless you have performance tires. But this is just my $0.02 worth! Best of luck!
