09-11 Chrome Clad Wheel Corrosion
Steve, i have to agree with you...!
Being that dodge has to try and sell more than ford and chevy, we get "rammed" harder buying dodge rams.
Good luck to ya budd, on getting them to replace your corroded wheels, they wouldnt do fuggin SH_T for me.
Next time around, i`m going with a ford or a chevy, cetainly cant be any worse off, an its time for a change anyway.

I have the same problem with my rims, like I mentioned earlier on this thread. I went to the dealer the other day to get my new key fob because the old one was crap. I talked to them about my rims, and they said they would take a look at them. When they got done programming my fob, they told me they also orderd 4 new rims for me. I will have them put on tomorrow ( monday ) I was in there on Friday morning, they orderd the rims, and they were in on Saturday. I really didn't expect them to do anything about them, but am glad they are.
my 08 wheels pited at 4,500 miles the first yr i had it and they were replaced under warranty.. as for switching to ford like ppl stated ealier in this thread all vehicals have there share of problems i have a prime example my dad just bought a new 2011 ford f150 lariat fully loaded.. it was nice last weeknd here so he gave it a good hand washin well with 3200 miles on it and not even 3 months old the rear bumpers rusting and so are the chrome nerf bars... he was pissed! he hasnt had a chance to take it to the dealership cause of work but is planning on going sat. it has nothing to deal with lack of washing.. just a prime example of the cheaply built trucks are these days.

I haven't been on the forum for several weeks because I have been in talks with Chrysler Service over the phone. Funny thing, they tried for several days to contact the service manager at my dealer. He would not text or call them back for days. Chrysler finally did talk with the service manager and I am suppose to take my wife's truck in for pictures of both chrome bumpers and the chrome clad wheels. I will take it back in when Spring hits. I did try to get answers about the warranty on the replacement bumpers and wheels. The Chrysler Service Rep. danced around the issue and also would not answer what the chirp sound that some Hemi Rams make after warming up. The Chrysler Service Rep. and the dealers have tried to tell me that I can't go by anything on the Ram forum. My opinion is if they don't start watching what is talked about on the forum it will be their loss.
Since you like to look at the threads on Rust and Corrosion, look at All of them. There are several. Dodge knew in 2009 they had chrome bumper and chrome clad wheel problems. Now there are people on the forum with 2011 Dodge Rams complaining about their wheels and bumpers. That's three (3) model years. Also, there are people that have had their bumpers replaced and they are already rusting again. You only get them replaced once.
Apparently you don't have much respect for women or other people. You need to learn some manners. Also, anyone can post pictures. I'm not impressed one bit. I am trying to learn and share, not do this kind stuff. Grow up.

Windsor Chrysler. I dealt there for years then when a brand new car was written off and it was a lease and I put 2000 down on the car and didn't get any of it from the dealer or insurance I was pissed and at that time service was bad there. So I bought my RAM elsewhere but decided to go back because I knew a guy working there and he assured me service had changed there and he was correct. I have had great service there, in fact my daughter is in the middle of buying a new car from there. So I would recommend them again now, they have some great deals on service items like 20 for and in and out hand wash....pretty good for one of these big rigs, I know it takes an hour for my wife to do it(not I am not a jerk I am paraplegic and I help when it's not cold). They have rustproofing or oil spray and tint . Anyway all at good prices. I am not affiliated or anything like that with them just mentioning they are good to deal with now. I am sure everyone has had their issues with dealerships, I have with the one but all if good now they recognized some of the issues in Service that were things that should not happen like having to go back twice for the same problem almost everytime. So far with the RAM I haven't had an issue except when new and the was with the selling dealer they could not program my uconnect module. Windsor Chrysler managed so I figure one they must be training their employees on the new electronics and 2 they are much closer.
