But, Why? And do you think there will be a plastic deformation issue with time? HIDs get pretty hot.

Why not, his lighting in reverse is more likely 3x brighter. Seems like a creative mod if you don't want the extra set of ground lighting mounted to your bumper. HID's will not deform the plastic, they don't produce enough BTU's, lol.

 

I don't think there will be an issue with heat. It's your reverse lights, they aren't on very long anyways.

 

Thatd be a great solution for high beamers following you.

Haha thanks guys like i said its hooked right up to the cargo light switch so all you need to do is hit that little button and presto! Tailgaters be gone.... Ill get started on a write up.
