Default Tire question

I have 6" of suspension lift,3" body lift, and 2" front leveling kit with 37x13.50 tires.Wanting a larger tire, but not having much luck finding tire sizes between 37"-40".Although 40" tires are pretty easy to find...I have 18" wheels to.The Procomp extreme mud terrain 38.5x14.50 is all I can find, other than BF Goodwrench.Would this size tire make a significant difference,or should I look into 40" tires, which leads me to one question. Will our rams handle 40" tires having IFS ????????

That's a bit too much tire for an IFS from what I read. Going to be replacing axles and bearings frequently.

Procomp extreme mud terrain tires don't last long on a 3000lb jeep, I wouldn't expect many miles from them on a 3 ton pickup.

I don't have to drive my truck everyday, actually about 16-30 miles per week.A trip to the supermarket,or to the allmighty wallmart. My tires never wear down, they dryrot and crack.I once had a 98 Ram 1500 that had a set of Dayton Timberline tires on it for 4 years, and still had plenty tread left before I changed them. They were cracking on the sidewalls. So tread life is not a factor for me.I drive my service truck to/from work,so that keeps me from having to drive my personal vehicle.
