Default Merry EARLY Christmas to ME....Pics inside

So I ordered my Christmas Present early and got it installed early since I have 10 days off work..

I got my Magnaflow Cat-Back exhaust (p/n: 16869) put on w/ a y-pipe (p/n: 10778) and some mandrel bent pipes coming off the CAT's to the y-pipe. Comes w/ GORGEOUS double walled polished stainless steel 5" tips(looks much better than the coke cans dodge sanded down and put on the ends of the tailpipes!) . The muffler is 22" and not too loud. I'm sure once I get some miles on it, it'll get a little louder like my other Magnaflow muffler.

Looks pretty nice! What did you spray on there and what is all the hate for aluminum pipes and mufflers i have been hearing about from the people on this forum? I know folks had the aluminum exhaust for years no problems.

It's a ceramic spray on coating that reduces external temperatures of the exhaust piping....if you look where the original y-pipe is you'll see some type of heat shielding above it since the stock y-pipe is close to the body of the truck. So the he sprayed it on there, so it doesn't bother me.

I have no problems w/ aluminum piping/exhaust systems myself...but I really liked this kit and it was Stainless, plus you can only get these 5" Double Walled SS tips w/ this kit..

Thanks bro! You should buy a bumper and fab it up to fit your truck, or just make cut out's in yours!

Hey man thanks! I went w/ the y pipe and I will say I am quite satisfied w/ it. I talked w/ the guy at the performance shop I went to in South Jersey and he said it shouldn't have any negative effects b/c I was asking about the back pressure issue. (these guy's at Kasper's ROCK!!). Super friendly and they know what there talking about. Plus there cars that they race at the tracks were on the lifts at the time I was there and lol.

You can't get these tips separately... it's a shame! But it's part of the kit and if you want them you have to get the kit, sucks. But I love them!!!
