Angry need a little more umph!

looking to help boost the hp on my 2011 Ram 1500 w/4.7. Was wondering if an exhaust upgrade and cold-air intake would be worthwhile. Any info outside of getting the hemi would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, harryld2

The last i heard no one has cracked the encryption and has a tuner available for 2011 models and up. Atleast for the HEMI that is...

CAI waist of $$ unless you want a little more growl under the hood. I had it in my truck and removed within a few months. If you want more power add a tuner when its available! K&N cai says you get 12hp.. Real world prob. 5hp.. The *** dyno won't feel the difference.

Put a NOS sticker on your window thats 25hp for that alone! :-)

Take any unneccessary weight out of the truck! I had a 4.7 in my first 2009 but it was 2WD, I thought it had plenty of power. Of course having said this my 2010 is 4WD with a Hemi. Wait for the Tuner, IMO it is the best bang for your buck and you actually feel a difference. I also saw on here the other day about grounding your TB, you may want to ask Hammer about that one, not sure if it aplies to the 4th generation. Be patient and don't spend money on an exhaust and CAI that don't really work and it cost's you 600 bucks, plus an exhaust on a 4.7 sounds wierd to me. Again just my humble opinion. Good luck in your search.

Add 4.11 or 4.56 gears. That will surely help you feel a lot faster. They get very expensive though if you have a 4x4.
