How long have you waited for your 2012 Ram

Well since I am official now....
Ordered Feb 28th. Had VIN on the 5th and it is scheduled to ship on the 17th. Mine is coming from Mexico so I figure 2-3 weeks for shipment, which would make the total 5-6 weeks. My salesman (worked with him for a long time over the years) said he would put some heat on them, which I know is a line. I do not see how a dealership can move anything up in a production line. Customer orders already get priority over a typical stock order.

On another note, I still do not have my truck. It has been 86 days since I ordered my truck and I still do not have it. I am starting to get rather annoyed...

Actually, apparently in Canada, because we dont get VOTS - the plant does not give the dealer the VIN until they ship the truck, and that is if they ever update the system. Chrysler REALLY needs to get a better system in Canada, Why we dont have VOTS is beyond me. I really hope they are not hiding something, my family has had nothing but good service from this dealer and I would hope that it stays that way : /

maybe something to think of next time you want to order one... Order it in the states and then drive it to Canada!

Kinda sad that it comes down to that some times lol. I do plan on doing this when I purchase my motorbike in a few years, unless a cdn dealer can get me good deal like i did this time. I got a little over 25% off the MSRP of this truck + a few free extras.

Downside to that is everything will be miles/imperial and not KM/metric.
