V6 electric fan installed on Hemi

Yup. From a v6 1500. It will come on full force at 195 degrees. I set that temp with my tuner. Normally it would kick on at 222. I also have a 180 stat as well. Truck runs 177-183 in the road and sitting idling Ilaa soon as it hits 195 the fan drops the temps fairly fast. Mpg and throttle response also improved. I'm up to 24 mpg hwy.

Hey Cmerritt, did you run two relays so the fan will kick in based on the thermostat as well as an a/c relay if you turn your air conditioning on? Been trying to figure out if that's the way to go or not, that was how I wired up electric fans on my old F150 and while it was more work to do it it also made sure the truck wouldn't overheat either.

Just wondering then, why replace the a/c fan that is already there? Couldn't we just remove the clutch fan and leave the a/c fan there, adjust the temps with a tuner and have the same affect?
Or maybe you were going for more visual appeal, engine bay of your truck looks pretty sweet, where did you get the cowl induction system?
