Default manual trans.??

what year did dodge stop putting a man. shift in there full size trucks?? seems to be something about the 1500 all being automatic.

At least a decade ago for 1/2 tons. My buddy has an '03, he had to get a 3/4 ton to get a manual trans, wasn't available on the 1500's back then.

thats a bunch of crap....... almost a deal breaker for me, i've owned dodge since i could drive. not a big fan of automatic......... guess i'll start looking and chevy next, not a ford fan either, but if they offer a man. trans. i'm game.

Neither of them have a manual in their half tons either.

2015 Chevy Colorado will be available with a 6 speed manual. Thats about as close as you are going to get without going 3/4 ton.

I saw at the Chicago Auto Show wednesday, the GMC Canyon has an optional 2.8, 4 cylinder, Duramax Diesel now. I'd assume it's an option for the Colorado as well. That truck has definitely grown is size this year!

You can get a full size ram 2500 with the hemi and 6 speed manual.

i thought i found one..... a dealer had one up 07 2500 hemi. 6 spd. quad cab 4x4. black......... asked them for sure if it was a man. transmission, they said oh, yeah it sure is. a week later they put pics. up. low and behold it was 6 spd. auto!!!! i would have been ticked off if i drove 2 hours to find out it was an auto. glad i didn't go look at it. not a bad price though. had 60,000 miles they wanted $18,700.00 for it.
