Has anyone installed a power antenna in the 4th Gen Ram? Were they an option for the truck? Reason I am bringing this up is every time I go thought the auto car wash (the old school drive through) I remove my antenna so it does not get bent or broken, getting to be a PITB. Saw a power antenna kit at Autozone for 70.00.
Even if there was an up/down button instead of the radio power to raise/lower, can work with that.

Never seen a power antenna on a truck b4. Not sure if there's room inside the fender for it but it seems like there would be.
You should avoid those old school washes. They scratch your paint!

 

Under normal conditions I avoid auto car washes like the plague but with last weeks ice/snow storm in KY/TN and the salt on the roads, I need to get her clean. LOL, did not last but 30 mins.

 

Yeah, but salt is a rock and does scratch, so when others get their cars washed, those fiber mats or whatever you call them that spin and hit up against your truck have fine grits of salt stuck in them along with sand and other dirt.

You dont have any laser or touchless car washes around? They are all over the place here in NY.
