Default Instrument Panel Anti-Glare?

Driving a lot during my current move, I've noticed that with the sun low on the horizon and the angle & finish of the instrument panel cover, it's very prone to being washed out by glare. At night, I see the reflection of the instrument panel very clearly on the driver's side window. I feel that both of these conditions are a safety factor & can probably be minimized with having a mat finish on the panel cover. Does anyone know of any product or treatment that can reduce the glare/reflection?

Don't know of any treatment but you could try the lightest cling tint you can find at Walmart. Sound hooky but worth a try if it is as bad as you say. The good part of the cling tint is it is not permanent. Hope it helps

How is the instrument cluster being washed out a safety hazard? Maybe I'm not understanding you.
Reflection of IC in side window happens to a lot of vehicles. I would suggest using the Dimmer switch and turning the brightness down a bit. That should help.

At night time if the glare is that bad...there is a switch to the left of the steering wheel and you can dim it all the way down. I hate bright lights when driving but these stock gauges aren't all that bad at night. I have 5% limo tint on my truck and everything reflects off of it. But I'd have to agree with blue beast...go with some tint on the dash?
