Hey Guys and Gals,
I did a search for the following question and did find some info however, would like to ask nonetheless.


How have you all removed the front and rear ram head from the 4th Gen? Yes, they are recessed into the grill and tailgate but not sure if they are held in by adhesive alone or adhesive and some type of retaining pin.


I am looking to black out the truck while keeping the logos, Ram1500 and Ram Heads. Got a lead on the blackout things.


Some of the posts I have read indicate that due to the recess of the heads, that it is not advisable to remove however, as I said before, will be replacing with black ones.

Yes, I removed them and replaced with black emblems.

The rear is held on by adhesive, and the front just "clips" in. You have to remove the grille to get it out.
