Greetings all, today, my key fob decided to poop out on me. Has been used since I bought the truck in 2013, I have a spare on hand with the two keys so I have no issues with the truck running however, wanted some insight into a replacement fob. Found a place on line that has them WAY cheaper than the dealer but the fob emergency key and tailgate key would have to be programmed at the dealer. Has anyone dealt with the dealer programming the fob and cutting the keys and what do you think the cost will be?

Usually $50 - 100 for a key cut/program. An hours labor. Depends on the labor rate. Call and ask. And call around. I found the dealer was cheaper than a locksmith.
