in a nutshell, Edmunds' assigned reviewer liked:
* coil spring rear suspension & its ride
* Ramboxes
* design of bed divider/extender
* quiet and tight ride
but disliked:
- 12.7 MPG during test ( this TRX model had 3.91 diff & Wrangler ATS tires)
- interior reflections from dash & chrome trim
- less acceleration & worse braking than 5.7 Tundra

but this same reviewer's boss said:

interesting... i wonder how the acceleration will prove in real life. as far as real 1/4 mile and 0-60 tests with the tundra.

well... at least the R/T does 0-60 in 5.7 seconds

 

That's about a tenth or two slower to 60 than a RCSB Tundra. But being that close, it's probably a drivers race. And im sure the aftermarket ill be there for you guys alot sooner than it was for us.

 

0-60 in 7.6 sec?! 1/4mile in 15.6?! I know this is a 4x4 but don't the 3rd gen 345hp 4x4hemi's produce similar numbers? 390hp? ya right. LOL! Well at least everything else is awsome and hopefully the aftermarket comes out with some things soon so that the new Dodge Ram guys can run with the Tundra's in the 1/4.

yeah rcsb do 0-60 in 5.6 and the quarter in 14.1. still pretty close though.

 

sounds like a nice ride. i might go look at one just to look but im not planning on getting one.

That new hemi still won't put 300 to the wheels...they need to pull their head out and hook up a more efficient tranny.
