Default Bought a '09 regular cab today

I ordered my new truck today.

It has the V6/auto, A/C with ST package. Simple truck, no bells or whistles.

Can someone tell me what the '09's regular cab V-6s are going for?

just wondering, why didn't you at least get the 4.7l?

I have absolutely no need for a 4.7, the only reason I went with a full size truck is because I'm a big fella. I'm also purchasing the truck for $14,945 +ttl

BTW, I'd have the Hemi if I could afford the fuel and upgrade. For the price, I was just looking for a simple work truck that I can upgrade with tinting the windows, stereo, and a set of rims. I usually modify everything, but times have changed....My motorcycle still has 183 rwhp though

for the extra grand the 4.7L is more than worth it. there will be more available in the aftermarket for that motor as well as it gets equal MPG to the v6 and way more power. plus the upgrade is only 800 some dollars. i agree hemi is a big jump plus the use of 89 octane fuel but the 4.7L is more than worth it.

your gonna get better mileage out of a 4.7l because its not working as hard. and i am pretty sure the hemi would be even more than worth it. but that is a good price.

and rims? o dear... please tell me you aren't getting portholes and side vents to...

Not sure what you're talking about. I'm not a fan of steel wheels, I'll be trying to find a set of aluminum rims or something or stock upgraded ram wheels.

I can still upgrade the motor... I'm thinking hard about it...

just order it with the OEM 20"'s have em on my 08 love em never gonna change em

and you're not going to find ways to really upgrade the v6 other than bolt ons like an exhaust and intake.

By "upgrade the motor" I think he means he can still change the build order because the truck hasn't been built yet.
