In case you didn't see it, here is the vid on the Tundra bed bounce. I nearly sharted myself when I saw it....lol

The truck sounds and shakes like a damn choo-choo going down the freeway...

The one thing that I DO like about the Tundra is the OEM supercharger with warranty that bumps it up to 504hp and 550lb-ft. Wish Dodge would produce and warranty something like that for us.....

I noticed they didn't have the Ram in that test! Anyway, for the way I drive, this is basically meaningless for me. Long term reliability is what I want in any vehicle - learned this in over 45 years of driving... Hunt and fish, but not much in the way of off roading - would like to though

there is trickery in those
youtube videos that originated with Ford Motor Co
about the cargo box twisting
at a certain speed over a special track
older forum members will remember similar trickery in
the Ford pickup commercial from the 1970s
where it was being driven down the railroad track
staying perfectly smooth

Shot at Ford's Milford Proving Ground, on their most extreme durability test track. This type of testing is so grueling, for safety the driver is limited to 9 runs during an 8-hour shift

There's nothing really wrong with it. I love my truck a lot, but there are things i would change on it. Like i don't think there's a single locking compartment in my entire truck? Have i just not noticed it? Who designs a truck without any locking spaces? I like the look of the 08 Tundras. They just look like a mean truck. Also the fact it was designed and built by Toyota is a big plus. The 09 Rams kinda looks like they stole things off the 08 Tundra.
Yes i have test drove one. I'm 6'3'' so i didn't really feel small in it at all. It didn't seem cheap to me either. Recalls? Is Toyota the first to have mass recalls? Didn't Dodge have transmission problems for many years? You have to remeber that they haven't been building trucks nearly as long as domestic brands. To see how far they've came in the last 5 years, one can only guess where they'll be in another 5. I feel Toyota took more time thinking things out than other brands. Didn't it win Motortrend truck of the year?
This is not a biased statement in anyway. I see it for what it is. If i were biased, i wouldn't have purchased a Dodge Ram. I love my truck and am very pleased with it, but i still like the Tundra. I'm not what you would call a "brand loyal" guy. Every manufacturer makes good and bad vehicles, except for gm who makes all crap.
