Offficial kill thread ?
My truck is not a truck - just because you say so….LOL!! Funny, the window sticker says truck, Chrysler says it’s a truck, but Cyclone outwits them all with the press of a return key. A minivan can haul 5 people too, so it’s a truck right? Do you even *think* before you type this nonsense? This Ram will tow a 6000lb RV through the mountains here in CO and take me 4x4'ing just the same as my last Hemi Truck, and it’s damn fast too. So your assessment that it is only for speed is proven specious at best and disingenuous at worst.
"A dakota with the 4.7 could show your hemi what dakota tail lights look like due to its light whieght and H/P ratio...."
Once again, you have just typed something without thinking. Let me help you here, the best 0 to 60 time for a 2008 Dakota (even with a manual) is around 8.4 seconds. Would you care to explain how this compares to the 6 seconds or less of a RCSB Hemi Ram? Please cite me the sources that back your claim so that we can safely assume your understanding of power to weight ratio is not on par with your spelling abilities. In the mean time, while I am driving my 09, you can just keep postulating about what you _think _ a truck is. Cheers

pardon me for offending your ego, a Dakota has 300 h/p with the 4.7, your toy hemi had a upgrade to 385 H/p, You have to tell me the torque numbers, curb wheights ect, due to your real life expierances, and abilty to read.
A dakota with a manual is slower than a autonatic, 2 seconds thier, the manuals in dodge trucks are torque monsters, not drag racers. It would be a fair fight betwean your self and a Dakota, a lot has to do with the rear gear ratios.
Yes Chrysler says you have a truck, and I agree its a toy truck, built for 0 to 60, and on the off chance your going to tow threw the mountains of CO I would like to hear abought it.
you paid good money for your truck, Enjoy your ride and use it as you see fit, Short boxs are not built for my job sites.
umm... his R/T hemi also has a Stall converter... designed for racing... which puts the ram at 0-60 in 5.7 seconds... it would be close but the ram has more top end and a aerodynamic advantage
now... a cummins with a smarty and a couple other things would be laughing at these two... but thats big brother for ya

Doesn't matter what you drive, you put enough money into it, its gonna fly. The TRD super charger puts out 504hp/ 550tq and you keep your warranty...all for close to 7 grand. A little out of my league. Speeds expensive. Hoping to break into the 13's next chance i get to goto the track.

You are correct, there *is* an ego at play here, I just don’t think it’s mine. You are the one who keeps prattling on about having a “real truck”. Honestly I hadn’t realized there was any doubt about that, but thanks for bringing it to our attention. If you feel better calling my truck a toy by all means have at it, you will forgive me if don’t engage back in sophomoric retorts. Others here are very proud of their rigs, it never crosses my mind to insult them. While it may be a fair fight between the Dakota and the Hemi Ram, it has become intuitively obvious that debating with you is not. You have done a nice job of exposing your thought processes here, I would be a fool to try and improve on that. So for now, we can simply agree to disagree. Cheers.
All I have really proved is that you have a wickedly fast truck, and I have a working mans truck, we just leave at that, I had to back up the dakota argument and I did not mention the Dakota R/T, which was a older dakota with a 5.9.
I'm not here to insualt any one, I'm fair prey with my comments, good or bad, my thought process is all mine !!!
Not a truck? Now I'm personally not one for Regular cabs....but not a truck? What the fu*k? good job on the classification of vehicles dude....not a truck.....wow.
