Damn, they told me I couldn't get the center console in an SLT. I'm glad now because that made me get the Laramie. I am very pleased with it.

 

Can somebody tell me if you can get the wood insert around the radio on the SLT ? If so, which option /package is it in ?

If I remember correctly, I saw a grey SLT somewhere on this site with a center console and wood insert,

How are the RAM prices now compared to March 2006 ? Maybe the stronger canadian dollar combined with the bad economy will allow me to get a laramie ?

 

I think the wood is Laramie only. On my sport, all of my silver bezels and trim were acid dipped and treated to appear like carbon fiber. It looks awesome with the black interior of the sport package. I need to put some pics up because it is much nicer than stock.

 

You'll need a new bed cover. The '09 has a spoiler lip on the tailgate. I got the Versacover for my black Sport and it fits great. It also locks the tailgate in place, is waterproof, light weight and now available for $698 & free shipping in the US. Had one on my '03 as well and it was great. Check out their website.

 

I, too, looked at several dealerships to find out what things looked like before buying. I noticed the SLT Quad Cabs came without center consoles while all of the SLT Crew Cabs I seen came with. Perhaps just a coincidence. ???? I bought the Quad Cab last week and have noticed many more trucks showing up at the dealerships in my area lately. Another coincidence or just my luck since I didn't get much of a choice in colors. ??
