I think those are the only two, MAX CARE and the Paint/interior. I notified my dealer of the concern here and he stated that since I was getting the Paint/interior added protection I shouldn't worried as it is covered for full replacement should there be an issue.

Not really the response I was looking for. More of a "Dodge has switched material and this will no longer be an issue with your truck" is what I wanted him to say.

I agree. Whats the point of getting the leather replaced every 3000 miles.

If you have the seat wear issue file a complaint here
File a complaint with NHTSA
http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/

I am on my 2nd 2009 Ram..long story.
For the options I wanted the only option was to get the heated ventilated seats.
So here I am again with a worn driver seat @ 418 miles.

Not worn badly because now I remove my wallet before sitting down. Just sad I have to do that.
First Dodge salesperson suggested I buy a cover so I do not damage it.
The next sales person said they would replace the cover with a better leather for $1200.00.

Both ridiculous. I still write chrysler daily and still get no real response

The dealership had a swatch of "Katzkin" leather. Right there in the swatch was the preforrated dark grey that I had, and have. I did not think it was leather; still not sure what it is; but I do know its made by Katzkin.

My entire family wonders why in the hell I bought another dodge.
Me to now. Going in the shop again in the morning. New door handles..one side...because one side is body color the other chrome. Remote start stopped working.
Be ordering another seat cover for it tomorrow too. Told the service manger to just stock up and expect to install a new seat cover every other month.

Nice. I hope I don't have the same problems, but if I do they're going to have a handful.

They will eventually have to own up to this. It should be a supplier issue anyways so Chrysler should make them fix it.

That is correct, but first we need to complain about it enough or it needs to cost them enough.
