Thank you all for the input. I went to the dealer from whom I am purchasing the truck and was told that I could order the leather seats on my sport model which would be heated, but not ventilated. I took a sport out for a drive again which has the standard cloth/vinly seats and they seem to be pretty good, albeit not heated. My wife even thought she was sitting in leather seats. I decided $1500 was too much to pay for heated leather seats (no ventilation) so have ordered my new toy with the standard seats. Will post pictures when I take delivery.

16k on my 2010 Laramie. Love the interior but just found a 1/2 inch tear that lines up with the perforations in my leather seats. Will be taking to dealer tomorrow and most likely fall under warranty. Never have anything in my back pockets when driving, hate that feeling of sitting on something. The tear is hard to see but saw some threads sticking out and on closer inspection it is there with another 1/4 inch one directly beside it. Maybe that is where the seat stretches most when exiting but I am also careful of that given I do not want to wear the outside cushion out.

great site glad I found it, I'll be trading my mint 05 silver daytona
Yeah there's a problem with the 2011s too. I have a 2011 Sport with the Heated/Ventilated Front seats and the driver's side leather is sitting about 3 inches above the seat cushion. The passenger side isn't as bad but it's starting to become more visible...it doesn't have someone sitting in it everyday.

I showed my dealer who is a family friend and he said that he's gonna take care of it but for now there's nothing we can do but replace the seat cover...and it'll just happen again. So I'm gonna hold out for another little while and see what comes out of my complaint to him. I'm watching the warranty period very closely though! Hopefully a recall comes out...there was one for the 2009s for the leather seats ripping along the perforations but nothing yet for ours.

I've been thinking about trading in my R/T for a crew sport or laramie cause I need the extra towing and seats, but I think I'm gonna go with the sport with mesh seats(like my R/T) or get the laramie longhorn which has different material than the standard laramie
