I got my TRX-4, that stickered for 38k, for 28k after tax, tag, title. i also had a military discount, credit union discount, and coupon from dodge that added up to 2,500$.

i would try some more, but that sounds like a good deal. try another dealership, tell them what deal you are getting at this dealership, and pit them against each other. thats what i did.

That's what I'll have to do. Last year I got a 08 2500 for 31,000. It had a 45k MSRP. But that was for my company and we paid cash. I played 5 dealerships against eachother and when they stopped calling me and didn't want to bid anymore I knew I was close to there bottom price.

I have to finance the truck I get now, and I was wondering if they really can't do any better right now. They both told me that they are selling under invoice and that dodge re-emberses them the difference. I was thinking that if they go to low that they wouldn't get the money from dodge so it wouldn't make sence for them to sell it. I might just go check out some used 08s if this don't work out. Another funny thing is that the dealers aren't all over me. They're acting as if they don't care if I buy or not. I thought waving a 10K down payment in front of there face would help, but it dont apear to be.

Some dealers aren't desperate at the moment. They're more worried that if they start selling them at such large discounts then they're setting a bad precedent for themselves. ANything over a 10k discount is starting to squeeze margins, especially on a new truck model.
