Default How much should I expect? 09 1500 Hemi

I am in Houston, Texas. Well location doesen't really matter.

I am wanting to get an 09 1500 with the 5.7liter Hemi.
I am wanting the sport package. What kind of price should I see?

I want the wheels, grille, and mirrors. I am not even sure what the sport package includes.

Can you help me out what I am looking for and how much I should expect? Where can I see the package deals?

Thanks
Kyle

Go to www.dodge.com and look up the Ram. Build one on the site and add all the options you want. I just picked up my 09 1500 Sport after doing lots of research on what I wanted. Also there are pretty good incentives going on. Overall if you want a 1500 Sport you are looking at a price around 38K-43K MSRP. With incentives and negotiation skills you can get it for a great price.

Good Luck you wont be disappointed!

Thanks for the help. Just got done looking. Don't want to go allout. I built one for only $34k. Hopefully I can settle for it about 25k. Guess I am going to have to see. What are you guys getting on your sport edition rams?

Thanks

I am major concerned about this also. I have read from many that have bought 09 ram laramie crew 4x4 stickering for $46715.00 and buying them for $33900.00. I just sold my Tundra and ready to get one but best I can do is $37600.00. That ain't even close to what they are getting. I'm not buying for this when others are getting $13000 off sticker. Not going to happen. I wish I hadnt sold my Tundra now.

The deals are less now because the rebates changed on 1/26/09. The online rebate for $1,000 went away, and the $3,000 cash rebate that was available is now only $1,000. Add those up and you get a net decrease of $3,000. This is why you now only can get about $10k off the same truck that you use to be able to get for $13k off.

Due to the decreased discount/rebates, I am now back to looking at GM and Ford trucks.

i am calling my dealer tomorrow and offering them $34700 for the truck that stickers for $46700. I do have that internet certificate that I just found out ended 2/2/09. We will see if there is anyway they can honor it. They still have 0% for 48 and $1000 off to finance through them and $1000 other rebate. We will see if they want to sell or not. If not I'll go back to the Tundra. I like it more than the chevy. I might look at the ford. I'll let all know tomorrow as soon as they open if they will sell me the truck or not. I hope so.

Well beyound me but they took back $2000.00 and had the worst January every and the worst January of any car manufacture. They was down 49%. They will not move. They said they were told can't do nothing but just sit on their vehicles. I missed it by 2 days because of my truck I was selling and they won't do anything. As close as that is you think they would say OK we was working ton this 2 days ago until his got funded. I am back to Toyota again because they do not do crap like this.

Yeah, I also found out they are not budging. I guess they figure they will either sell the vehicle and breakeven (or make a little), but they will not sell at a loss. Looks to me that about $9k off is that spot.
