Based on my needs, I have no choice but to go with a soft cover. I am thinking on getting the truxedo lo-pro. I understand that they are not waterproof, but does anyone know how good this cover really is in keeping the bed somewhat dry?

What kind of needs do you have? Full use of the bed? If so, have you checked into the Bakflip G2? They're water-tight and flip up so that you'll get the full bed. Down side is that they're $700.

No open pics yet, I can get them though.

Everything stayed in place. There are four brackets that go on the bed. I will take pics of them too. It was a very easy and painless install with no modification to the truck.
