Where in that video did you see him close the tailgate without having the Bakflip open?

And that is the way it works. Shut tailgate first, then shut backflip

Yes oldjeep is correct. You must close the tailgate first then the cover. I really like my BakFlip G2, it looks great and keeps everything dry. There is a seal that goes over the tailgate to keep water out which is why you can't close the gate first and its really not a big deal. The bakflip is pretty light and so is the tailgate on these trucks. Holding the cover up a bit and closing the gate is not difficult.

I got mine from 4wheelonline.com for $651 w/free shipping and you get a $50 gas card with it for free. When I got my cover they were out of the gas cards so they just credited my card the $50, so I got my Bakflip G2 for $601 shipped.

Now that the Bakflip G2's have been out awhile, I've been hearing about the same sort of problems as the G1, such as it's coming apart. No word on the HD yet though.

The cheapest place I found was performanceparts4less.com at $644.99. Since I'm in Canada I have to check out duty, brokerage, shipping is usually $150 etc. Performanceparts4less.com does it like this, add 28% to the total and that includes duty, brokerage shipping taxes etc... or so they say. So that puts the cover at $825.59 without the exchange rate.

Smile Spray on bedliner

I like Qwikliner it has a texture that is non-slip, but yet it is not rubbery, so if you are using the truck to carry dirt/mulch/gravel, like you would with a truck it is a very good surface to shovel and sweep stuff off of...
