Default Radio Volume

I am new to the site and a first time Dodge owner. This question probably been asked already. I just bought a 2009 Crew cab trx. Where is the setting for the speed sensitive volume on the radio. Couldnt find any reference to it in the owners manual or any setting for it on the radio. Went to the dealer to pick up my plates and asked them about it. No help there....I have heard that the adjustment is there in the radio somewhere. I just cant find it. Any help would be appreciated!!!

Granted, I don't have an 09...yet, but I don't think that Dodge has the speed controlled volume. That is the one thing that I am going to miss on my chevy. If I am wrong....someone PLEASE correct me!!!!

To my knowledge they don't have it. If they do and I'm just not aware of it, I will be pleasantly surprised.

Oh yeah, Mine has got it! Although i cant find anything anywhere referencing it. The radio gets noticably louder at higher speeds. It might be something that i will have to get used to. I aint gonna give up just yet though. If i find out some more info i will let ya'll know.

you need to go into the menu section of the radio it is in with the bass, treble, and fader section, it will tell you speed volume off or on, if it is off, it will act normal, if it is on, the faster you go the louder it gets and when you slow down it gets lower.

My 09 has it for sure - I need to take the time to figure out how turn it off.
I have never liked this feature, drove me nuts in an impala I rented a few years back. I find it irritating, but hey to each their own.

Hemi Rom,
Lemme know if you find out something! I will do the same. I got a lead on a friend of a friend that works for a Dodge dealership in my area that claims he knows how to disable this irritating feature. I know what is gonna happen, I will finally get it disabled and right after I have the Flowmaster 50 series installed and it is dualled out I will go right back in and enable it again!!!LOL!

Resurrecting an old post (see, I use 'search'!)

Has anyone figured out if there are settings for the speed-sensitive radio volume yet? I never knew it was a feature but I swear my '10 Sport with RBZ (MyGig 430) radio has it. The volume seems to increase as the speed goes up.

Thanks,
Rob
