Not sure on the power pedal...

The cubby is held in with clips and one screw if i remember correctly. You have to take off the main plate under the steering wheel (2 screws on the bottom then pull) Then there is one screw on the right side of the cubby and a couple clips. Really easy install. I like things to be neat and clean looking so that seemed to be my best option. I'll be doing a couple other installs soon that I may post (radios, scanners, emergency lights, and a switch panel)

Could you please post a pic of what the brake controller looks like installed in the cubby. That sounds like a really good idea and I would really like to see the install.

not sure which one he used, I had some of the little round mirrors that are concave to put on my outside mirrows that had the foam tape and they stayed on till I traded the truck off, over 5 years, I am going to try it myself if I ever get a day off!

FWIW - My 1500 has the power pedal's and the switch is mounted on the side of the steering column. Its just a small rocker switch.

Well, I tried the thin gray molding tape and it its always laying on the floor in the mornings. I tried the white foam tape today so we'll see if it holds any better.

White foam tape doesn't hold any better. It's actually not as strong as the molding tape. Time to get the drill out.

Thanks for the update, wonder if velcro would work, I put some of that on a cabinet door that had a broke latch on my travel trailer and when I shut the door u could still see part of the tape, I went the relocate the tape and it was peeling the lamintion off the door !

I installed my Prodigy yesterday in the little cubby above the brake release like an earlier poster did. It was real easy to do, and it looks good. I had to trim the top off the cubby but that is no big deal. Seems like the ideal place to put it IMO.
