i just got the letter in the mail

there is a safety recall on this truck

Isn't the '09 2500 still considered 3rd gen?

If the 08's are third gen then the 09's are definatly 4th gen. It's a complete redesign.
And, I got the same letter for my 08 2500

only the 1500's have bee redesigned. The 2500 and the 3500 were left mainly untouched. the 2010 2550 and 3500 will have the updated bodystyle and updated interior.
those that are on the bump line like he is kinda have the best of both worlds.
they will have topics pertaining to both the 4th gen and 3rd gen

Yup. The real 4th gen of the 2500 & 3500s will be the 2010 model year. Have they released full pics yet of the new style?
