Default 5 Inch Running Boards

Looking for some opionions. Are these running boards to big for a 09 ram sport quad cab (see link). I also like the style being flat and not oval. Another nice feature is the front and rears bend in.

http://www.runningboardwarehouse.com...2010-1500.aspx

I am thinking the 3" are too small, but are 5" too big???

Thanks guys.

I like the look and I don't think 5" pad is to big.

Default just got 'em

Ordered them 3 weeks ago and they have just come in. The co. claimed that the bracket maker was back logged.

Anyway, I will have them on by this weekend and will take some photo's.

Would love to see pictures as well. I like that they wrap in.

The wrap in is one of the features I like best about them also. I also like the flat look instead of the oval and plus they are 5" wide.

DCdawg- get a move on it and put those puppies on!!!! Just Kidding

Default sorry to report

but after putting on all the brackets it turns out they sent me the wrong bolts to attach the running boards. They are over nighting them to me but won't have them on until sometime later thins week.

With that said I can tell you 2 things:

#1 Running Board Warehouse SUCKS! They charged me the minute I put the order in but I didn't get my rb's for another 3 weeks. Truth is if i didn't call about them I would probably still be waiting. And of course the bolt issue that I have now.

#2 The 5' rb look good! They don't hang down very low but I kinda like that. The width doesn't seem to be an issue. I took some pics with the rb's laying on the brackets. I will try and upload them if i don't get these bolts soon.

Thanks DC for the report.

If I decide to order them I will make sure to call so that I will receive everything in one shot.

I am still looking forward to the pictures so post them when you can!

Thanks again!
