Will SRT-10 Rims fit a 2009 1500?
I need to differentiate my truck from all the other black sports out there. I came across a set of chromed SRT-10 wheels for sale and wondered if the offsets on the 4th gen trucks have changed from the 3rd gen and if there is clearance to run the 305-45-22's tucked in the fenders without rubbing?

I'm sure the wheels will fit, but I like the tucked-in look. The stock wheels are 9" wide and they stick out past the fenders. The tire tread tapers back in and that barely tucks inside the fender. If I went with the SRT-10 wheels, they're 10" and would probably stick out that much more unless the offset is changed to tuck the wheel in.
I guess I'll never know unless someone here on the board has a set on their truck; or if I'm able to get one wheel and mount a tire on it to see how it fits.

I like the street look. I'm not going for the off-road look, plus I don't like water and mud flung all along the side of my truck every time I drive across a flow line.
It's all a matter what you like.

well i guess its also where you live because every "street truck" here never has the tucked in rims, unless they are bagged.
