Navigation / Please tell me I'm wrong
I'm concerned now over the NAV option; we have it in the wife's '09 Camry and it is amazing, so I want it in my next truck. A few Q's here, as I haven't spent any time with the '09 Dodge unit yet:
Does it have touch screen commands, where you can pan the map and select options with your finger tip?
Voice activated commands, where you push a talk button while on the go and state the commands?
Does it have a beep alert when you are approaching your turn?
Does it talk back, like "in 500 feet, make left turn on Main St"?
I've found the exact truck I would buy, but it has Uconnect Tunes instead of NAV; if the factory NAV isn't up to snuff, I'll stick with the UC Tunes and get a garmin. I do like the smooth integrated factory look, but it does cost you $900 more to get the NAV over the tunes...

Not announcing the street names was the reason I started this thread. I wish it did and cant believe it dose not!
Wow, I'm going to have to check this thing out in person; like I said, the Toyota unit is so good and persistent, that sometimes I turn the voice down b/c it gets a little annoying. Plus, it gives you a little warning beep when you are approaching a turn or exit ramp.
Does the Dodge unit have Points of Interest, i.e. restaurants, gas etc?

Yes
My wife has had 2 Toyota Land Cruiser's. She feels the nav unit on my Dodge is the closest nav unit she has seen to her Land Cruiser.
