Went to build status today!! And the dealer told me they changed the 36 months 0% to 48 months at 0% now AND they added another $500 rebate!

 

what was the code for build status

ordered mine on sat already have a vin with d1 status and ship date of april 9!!!

hopefully it comes in shortly after!

 

Im shocked you guys are getting builds built ... and that your dealers are even offering the option ...
I just went to my local long time dodge dealer who i bought my dakota from .. when i asked him if he would build me one he says ..
Can i place an order for you ? sure .. if you dont buy it could i sell it ? prolly .. WILL THEY EVEN BUILD IT FOR YOU ?? and then he threw his hands up and shrugged ... then said .. DUNNO ..

This guy is very honest and i have talked to him very frankly over the years .. he would never bull***t me ..

We came to the conclusion that it might not be worth the effort .. does he know something we dont ?

 

My dealer is also a friend and I don't believe he would BS me. My build is scheduled to Start April 6. And could be delivered in a couple weeks. There was never any question about trying to build what we wanted. I admit there is a lot of uncertain events that could unfold. According to his source they (Chrysler) believe they will be building vehicles even after this Obama imposed 30 day deadline. I bet if you call my dealer he would be glad to build you a truck. And arrange to ship it or pick you up at the airport when it is ready for pickup. I'm optimistic mine will arrive this month. But I also admit only time will tell us all for sure.

It has been in D1 status for about a week. The ETA was 3 April, but since that is tomorrow, I don't think it will make that deadline! My salesman updates me each morning with an email telling me the status if it changes.

 

Went to "F" status today! It is in paint!!

 

Congrats! How much where you able to haggle off MSRP?

I bet the 48 months 0% was a nice surprise.

 

About 11k after all is said and done from MSRP.

 

Ezjeeper, good to hear your truck build is progressing. I checked on mine today and its in "F" status as well. I probably missed it, but when did you place your order? I ordered mine March 9th.
