I should know within a week or so if the 35s are going to fit. If the 35x12.50R-20s don't fit I'll try a set of 275/65R-20s (11" x 34.5").

I understand the car wash deal but why would 13.50s be so drastic. An inch really isnt that much more.

Did you see how close my tire is to the upper control arm? If you start changing wheels and backspacing you can run into trouble with just an inch.

I wouldn't serously make tire size decisions based on car washing ability. That was just kind of a joke. Like I said, the Jeep has 13.50 width tires on it, and I just take it to a different car wash. The car wash I was referring to is an expensive top end car wash that has attendants that clean the interior and dry the exterior afterwards. You have to pull your vehicle into the wash staging area, and park your vehicle with one of the front tires in a little tire dolly thing, and put the transmission in neutral. Then you get out of your vehicle and the tire dolly thing pulls your car through the car wash. The tire dolly thing is barely wide enough for a 12.50 width tire. With any of the "normal" drive thru car washes it would not matter if it was a 13.50 tire. Sorry for the "diversion".

Default Leveling kit instructions

Here's the installation instructions for the kit I was looking at. It seems pretty straight foward. I'm just waiting 'cause the service manager at my dealer said it would void my powertrain warranty. 1200 miles is too soon to lose that. There's another dealer locally, I'm going to check with them and see if they install it, they will warranty it. I don't know if they will since I didn't buy the truck there. Hope this helps.

I have a 12.5 on a 17 inch 8 inch wide rim. no even wear. I say get the 35's and a 1 inch spacer for the wheels.
