Clearing 35's thread.

I took some quick pics of the TRX-4 with a tape measure. Depending on the width of the tires and backspacing of the wheels I think you could clear 35's. Remember, the TRX-4 does come with a front coil spacer. I'd like to know what a regular 4x4's height with the same tires is. Can anyone measure it so we all know?
There is 37" between the ground and the fender. The current 275/70/R17 is 32.4 inches tall.

There is ~5.5" between the top of the tire and the fender flare.

~3.5" from the back of the tire to the flare.

~4.5" from the front of the tire to the flare.

This is where they would rub. Against the upper control arm.

Right. The height of a 35" is not the issue. It is the width that would limit you. The 275/70/R17 has a section width of 10.8 inches. A 35X12.50 is obviously 12.5" wide. So with a new, wider wheel the backspacing would be everything.

My Laramie measures 37 1/4" between the ground and the fender flare. It is stock and has 275/60R-20 tires on it, that are 32.99" tall according to Goodyear's spec sheet. The diameter measures ~33" with my tape measure, when measured with the weight off the tire (ie. not taking into account the static loaded radius).
So with 35s and a two inch spacer lift its going to be 40" to the fender flare.
