Inbred,
That was an excellent write up! You definitely provided good information for people to consider!
In fact I remember towing my trailer up north and there was a white Ford pickup towing a trailer and it looked so stupid because the rear was taking a huge dump. I thought the tongue weight was not distributed properly but now I know it was because it was lifted.
I could tell it was lifted in the front (very obvious) which at the time, with my lack of understanding, I didn't know why such a "beefy" truck would look like it was weighted down so much.
I tow in the wickedest of weather heading up to the U.P. and I have had some pretty close calls hitting ice on the highways and it's no fun "white knuckling" it up north.
I will leave my truck stock.
Thanks!

I will be installing the rough country kit along with the the air bags this week. Ive been looking at the cooper zeons, but they will take a month, what is the max sizes I can go on the stock rims without affecting the speedo or ride majorly. Also what other tires would be comparatable to these.

thats the kit im going to go with untill i can afford a big lift.
you can fit 35/12.5 with that kit
and no it doesnt do anything to the ride quality
but you will have to have it alined after it gets done, and if you know anything about vehicles you can do the install yourself

Lot depends on the type of lift, full shock/spring or spacer, etc.
