I don't think it is going to look any tougher with a set of OEM 20's on it than it is with a set of OEM 17's on it. It will look different, but it will still look like an OEM stock truck. For the $650 you are spending on them, you could be mostly there with a set of better looking off-road style wheels. And you don't need super swampers to have a more rugged look. BFG, Goodyear, Toyo, and several other companies make aggressive looking tires that still ride very nice. Goodyear MT/R's would be great tires, and still have a mean looking sidewall.

I agree with 'ya MOPWR2U..... it's not the "offroad" look that I was originally referring to but I do think it will solve my "midsize" truck issue....after looking at several pictures here and there I think the reason the TRX4 looks akward to me is the tire/wheel set looks undersized for the bulky truck. I think the larger rim will give it a more balanced look and at the same time hold me over nicely until I have the cash to get a good, wide wheel and a few M/Ts. Maybe one day the truck will look like the link below (on the bottom right) but for now I'm going with the 20's and will post a pic tommorow...woohoooo

I did but after the price of tires it gets to be too much.... I actually dont' mind the stock 17's but without some FAT tires on 'em it just looks too little to me. I agree with you that they look good but after having my 06 for the last three years it just looks too small and is buggin me.... just want to love my 09 the way I loved my 06... :-)

If you look around you could find some 33" tires for around $850. A little more than you'd spend on the stock 20's and you'd get the more "off road" look. Check these out:http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....1=yes&place=23
I kept my stock tires for now and got new rims. But my old ones were the chrome clad steelies. These are the ones I got. http://www.4wheelparts.com/aux_incl/...HE&w=200&h=200
Here's a pic of my truck now. It's a crappy phone pic but you get the idea. Next on the list is a spacer lift and some nerf steps. Then when the budget allows either 33's or 35's.
