Default Making the 09 look tougher

MOD Please delete my "Fender Well Removal" thread.

I wanted to start this because I'm kind of missing my 06 and think the 09's look a little more like a midsize truck than my old one. Wanted to stir up ideas/pics to make it look a little tougher.

Here are the pics of my 09 and my 06.

ok for something to make it look tougher you could change the rims and tires.

and replace the muffler, that always makes the truck sound really good.

Oh and put some tint on those front windows

Ok this will be funny 'cause you will think I work for some bull bar company or something. I was just posting on the other thread about bull bars and off road lights.
So here it goes.

I think bull bars with 3 off road lights on them would make it look tougher for sure.

leeparts.com/2009_dodge_ram/accessories/exterior/hood_with_integrated_scoops.html dead link now.

http://www.mopar-accessories.com/en-...=4032&pc=38071 try here

Your dealer can order the twin scoop hood as seen on SEMA.

or this looks tougher. Get the light bar, tire rack, rims and tires and you are good to go.

See I don't particularly care for the hood... I have since tinted the front windows.... the wheels and tires are high on my list but I'm still learning about fitting 35's etc on it... trying to find a good match set or site where I can do that. Thanks again for chiming in.

What about these? They're on super duper sale.

ok window tint is good and im with you on the hood.

the only way i would go to a 35 is if i lifted it. other then that ill stay with the 33's just go a little wider and with a more aggressive looking tire

Why are all the tire sizes on tirerack.com for 35's a half size rim??? Don't get that.....

******Disregard I'm a dummy... don't understand why it goes from 65/70/75 on tire height to 18.5 etc though. *******

k....good advice on the 33's.... what size rim would be good for those??? I'm seriously a rookie when it comes to the offroad ****e...

So I'm looking at offroad tires and there are 33's with a total of 32.8 diameter and LT305/65/17's. The latter would allow me to save money on buying new rims but would give me the same height tire correct? Also, the stock wheels are 17x7 would that work with the LT305's? I'm getting a little confused on the tire sizing.
