Default bucket seats in Ram sport only?

when ive priced my 'ideal ram' on dodge.com, bucket seats are a part of a technology package for the TRX that we are considering ordering. however, one of the dealerships got back to me and told me that i can only get buckets if i get a sport...which i dont think is right..

input?

You are looking at a RC? They are not available in a RC TRX, short or long bed. They are in the QC and Crew.

I think what he really meant to say is if you want a RC and the buckets you need a sport or an R/T to get the seats. That would be a true statement based on what I have seen at lots and what I get when trying to build online.

Obviously they would fit in there. It is Dodge's way of getting people to pony up for the higher priced sport package.

Then your salesman is wrong or is trying to sell the inventory he has because the person who orders this crap and no clue and now they are stuck with it. You can clearly get the buckets in a QC... Try building online, the option is there.

No that is not TRUE, They ordered a SLT/RAMBOX just like a Sport. I did not like the cloth/vinyl on the sport. I have the premium buckets in all cloth. I prefer the chrome bumpers than the painted.
You can get Buckets.

He is looking at the TRX, not a SLT, but according to the website, you are still correct. Buckets are available with the TRX QC.

what i want, ideally, is a QC hemi with as little chrome as possible, and bucket seats...

what bothers me is the attitude of some salesmen, and this was even the case when i worked for a group of dealerships. lets be honest, many salesmen know next to nothing about the vehicles they are selling...yet they act like every customer is a moron. i told this guy that ive driven an 09 ram through a media truck event, and i also told him that ive done a ton of research, and he comes back and tells me that i can only get buckets on a sport?

The first salesman I talked to had no clue about the trucks. The second one knew about them, but was very rude. My wife was pissed at him and wondering why a salesman, who is at a dealership that needs to sell trucks, is treating customers badly.

One would think they would bend over backwards to be nice and sell trucks.

when i bought the stratus, i first went to a mitsubishi dealership...i looked at and drove an eclipse convertible in the same color as my stratus. it was june, and the salesman wouldnt let me put the top down, or turn the radio on...i was 22 or 23 at the time, and had a few grand in cash in my pocket. my goal was to buy a car that day.

while out on the test drive, he got a phone call and when he hung up he said "turn around and go back to the dealership...i have a real customer waiting..not some kid looking to joyride in a new car". i bought the stratus about an hour later, and the next day, i brought it back to the mitsubishi dealership and showed their new car mgr, and explained to him that his salesman intentionally ran off what should have been an easy sale.

another one..a while back, a friend of mine called. she was looking at used jeeps, and the salesman was going on about how powerful the hemi was in the 2002 grand cherokee that she was considering. i told her to leave, because they didnt offer a hemi jeep in 2002.
