I don't think mine has been coming on. I unhooked the battery but drove it 300+ miles since.

 

Well I got 1200km on the truck and it still won't come on above 80km/hr. Whats the deal here? I am averaging about 14L/100km at 100km per hour. Sometimes 13.5L/100km without the MDS.

 

Hello All! New to the forum and the Dodge Ram. I had owned a Dakota a while back(95) and now have an 09 ram Crew Cab with the hemi and the Big Horn package. What an awesome truck!

My question is about the MDS...You are talking about a light that goes on? I have never seen a light but am pretty sure it is kicking in. Is it possible it is not working properly??

Any help is very appreciated. And I will appoligize in advance for the numerous ??? I will probably have for everyone on the site!

I have never seen the light either. 1400 miles. Must not have that feature. And "no" I can't tell when it goes to four cylinders.

 

Hey i didnt understand the light thing either but earlyer in the thread i asked and was told if the trucks were built from january09 on that they have a lil indicator light and if build dec08 and previous they have no light. mine has no light since i bought mine back in october. Listen to the tone of your exhaust and that might help you tell when its in 4 or 8
