Not really. I regret not taking them off. Now i will have to pay another hundred bucks to get them cut off. I wasnt sure how these trucks would respond to straight through magnaflows. i've heard sound clips but they were all with one muffler and the clogged y pipe so i was careful but iw ill have them off in a week or so.

 

hacksaw, some pipe and new tips, the factory tips are too short anyway. oh and a few clamps, Hundred bucks if you change the tips. I don't see the necessity for all this why not just get an SRT 8 Challenger or something. This is a truck, you think from 390 HP adding dual exhaust would be noticeable or even the cai...maybe a few HP but I think the new sound is what makes you think you are getting all this power, we used to flip our lids upside down on our old chevy's man I swear I got 50more HP when I did that LOL. When, where and why do you need more than what this truck has stock?

I like to tweak everthing, lol I build my own computers and overclock the crap out of them, my quad core is running a 1000mhz over stock my vid card is over clocked 350mhz, so to answer your question its FUN to tweak and tune!!!

 

You sound like my bro inlaw always messing around spending money on the puter. I want some of the options on my truck that were not available and there was not enough time to lock around for a truck with what I wanted, would have missed out on some of the sale. I got 18 g's off my truck with 6 years extended warranty if they stay in biz.

 

Do you have a video or sound clip so that we can compare the sound to a single muffler with dual out put.
