Ok, I'm gonna appeal to common sense here. When a word like "wetback", which is ONLY derogatory in nature, is not blocked, while the word I'm trying to use (which is NOT automatically derogatory) is, there's something wrong. Someone sometime in the past may have used the word inappropriately-that's bad and should be dealt with. BUT, totally blocking an otherwise-ordinary word totally is somewhat akin to banning shoes because someone threw a shoe at another person one day. Let's not get the horse before the cart is what I'm saying.
