I was wondering if anyone knows what the heck the small little wieght things or under the rams about mid truck (both sides) wish i had pic to explain better. There's a bracket then two small circle looking things. they were on my 06 too and never asked. Thanks for any help in sloving this.
There is a lot of science involved in reducing noise, harmonics, and vibration in vehicles these days. Those weights are made of a specific material, are a specific weight, and are placed in a specific place in order to help keep your truck as quiet as possible.
If you cut them open, you'll find the drugs that the ******** hid in them to smuggle into the US. In fact, you might some miniature children in them too!
(Ok, I know that was in poor taste, I just couldn't resist. These trucks weren't even built in Mexico from what I remember, so please don't flame me.)
They're not weights, they're flux capacitors - real high tech stuff.
I'm looking at Thatmarkguy's avatar, and I'm reading "They're not weights, they're flux capacitors". Why does everything I read under Thatmarkguy's avatar involve a "pair" of something? LOL.
