a/c issues

Default a/c issues

I had a kenwood dnx5120, amp, highs, 10" L5 put in the truck yesterday and for some reason now the a/c doesn't work. if you turn it on it kicks right off and kills the lights on the *****. Any ideas lol?

installer probably tapped the wrong wire for something. All these switches work on resistance, so a voltage drop in the wrong place could cause all kinds of crazy stuff like that.

Is it blowing the fuse? Sounds like the installer has something hooked up wrong or compromised your AC wiring. Take it back asap.

no the fuses are good, its really weird, pretty sure its all hooked up right, they lookedit over for hours and couldnt find anything, and i trust them, this is my third truck they have done.

lol doesnt matter how good they are your ac should still work. They definitely tapped the wrong wire. Wonder if they tapped the power or the intermittent power that goes to the ac for your hu. That's a big no no!

Try the dealer. It could be a coincident. But I highly doubt it. If the AC worked before they worked on your truck, it's not to hard to figure out where the blame lies.

i totally agree, but they are saying its somethingin the computer that needs reset and that they dont have a code reader for 09s. the owner is goin to the dodge dealer with me tomorrow so we will see
