Give the MF some time, it will get a little louder.

There are also different flowmaster mufflers. Their 50 is similar to the MF loudness.

I got the 50 series and love it.. Just the right sound for me--not too loud and "gurgley", but people know you are coming, and when you step on the gas you can hear the CAI and muffler from a mile it seems like haha. love it.

I put the flowmaster 40 on my 09 ram 5.7 Dumped it just in front of the rear axle. Loud M.F.! Sounds great. It does give quite a bit of rumble inside the cab. But i expected that. No more sneakin in and out of the driveway!

yeah thats what i thought but i have had it on for about 2500 miles and its still not loud enough for me, but i do usually have the front 2 windows down and the music up to about 25-30

now if i have the windows up and the music off it sounds nice but i never do that lol

I don't want loud, but a low, deep rumble. What's the best for that?

So get this. I go to my trusted exhaust shop where I have been going for years....and I am disappointed. Seems the managment has changed. The guy tells me about 100bux to install the muffler....4 hours later he phones back and says he needs to make some new pipes so now the price is 165bux, and I supplied the muffler. So whichever. I get there to pick it up and the factory tips aren't straight. One is sticking out past the bumper more than the other. So I tell him and he says to bring it back on Friday, 2 days from now. Ok. So then I jump in the truck and there is grease spot on my seat. The truck is only 1000km old! Unreal! And whats worse is I have to go back to this dick for more work. I guess on the bright side the truck does sound good. I should have waited till that "new truck feeling" wore off a bit. No matter how nice you keep something, it will never stay that way. Feeling pretty pissed off.
