I think it would all depend on the technology used and the advantages and disadvantages of it. Funny the article didnt mention anything about how exactly the thing worked, you'd think if it worked as well as claimed the guy would allready have a patent on it so how it works should'nt be a big secret. And as far as adavantages and disadvantages, if the thing gives you a increase in MPG by 14%, what does it do to the HP? Does it lower it by 14%, does it raise it??? Thats something else to think about. I also find it strange theres no more info about this anywhere on he net and the guy doesnt have a website, if I came up with an idea like that that worked I'd want all the news coverage and advertising I could get!!!

I believe they are in the middle of the patent process, which is why it's so scant on details. This is a 'local' story, first heard whispers of it about a year and a half ago, but seems the patent process is long and $, and they wanted some testing done first.

It all depends on if there are any negative consequences to gain the 2 mpg. If it's only $300 - 500 then it would be worth it with no negative consequences.
