No console stereo install
No i mean the actual outlet that goes into the cubby hole. I will probably need a switch though, I cannot get just a switch,I will need the whole panel as it is one part. The actual "inverter" may be built into the outlet box, if not I will need that part as well if it is not already in the truck. I really wish I knew someone with the outlet would to look at their or if someone on here would be willing to look at their setup. I wonder also if there is an inverter separate where it is located. The caliber has it behind the dash by the AC controls so that may be the same with the Ram.
Didn't you say you ordered a different part # earlier in this thread that was that part (the outlet?).
As to the other question, the only thing under my pass seat is the jack assembly and I have the factory outlet.

Well I have the p/n for the bezel and outlet but I know now that the inverter is not built into the inverter. The part number and diagram they show me of the inverter shows it under the seat. Now I am not sure where it might be..
Starting to sounds like more trouble than it's worth. I used to have an inverter plugged into my center console/seat cigarette lighter and ran it under the driver's seat. You couldn't see any of it except the inverter itself which hid under the seat. My TRX4 though, unfortunately did not come with that plug-in. I think I must have gotten the minimum trim seat package. I'm missing alot that I had in my old Big Horn.
From the service manual: "The inverter module is located under the right rear seat cushion." I will try to look tomorrow to see if I can find it.
I was looking under the right front seat, so that might explain it. On my Laramie, the right rear seat has the subwoofer under it. I do hear a relay clicking from the right side of the truck when I turn on the switch, although I was driving at the time so I could not investigate further.

That's no excuse.... personal safety come a distant second to this forum.
