I didn't like the looks of any of the available steps on a Sport so went with the Amp Powersteps. You can't see them when they are retracted, makes for a nice wide step when deployed. They are a little pricey but very high quality. Completely bolt on, no drilling.

War Horse. I just finished putting a set on my 09 Laramie crew cab today. Like you, I'm not looking to climb into the bed of the truck from the side so I bought the shorter ones. It's personal perference but I think it looks better just covering the doors and not all the way to the back. I bought a Mopar pair on ebay from a reliable place with a great price. Also, Ironsides (who put a comment in earlier) has an outstanding thread with pics on how to install them yourself. Between the great price and DIY I saved about $350.

i just installed a pair of chrome 4" oval cab lenght Steel Craft on my black quad cab and they look great. They look just like the mopar ones but were $300 shipped, easy to install also.

Some of the shops i called tried to sell me the earlier model steps, so make sure you buy ones that are specifically for a 2009 ram.

Here's a look at the Endeavour Board I added a few weeks ago... Need them for the kids as well.

Girlfriend is 5 foot nothing. It was entertaining watching her climb in and jump out without a step... She didn't think so... Hence nerf bars... Just installed this weekend.
