Hey all. I've been a Ram owner for 13 years and this is my first time here. I just traded in my '97 4X4 2500 for a brand new '09 4X4 1500 Laramie.
Sticker price = $44,315.00 I walked out the door paying $34,069.00 after tax and title.
Realisticaly, my trade in was worth about $2,000 tops. They worked the numbers so it looked like they were giving me $4,000.
As Ryan said "...seems like the more you spend the more you save."
I would say that you can get anywhere from $10,000-$13,000 off sticker you'd be in good shape.
...my $.02.

I called around a few places today. Most seem to be taking $10k off of msrp. I had one dealer indicate he can take more than $10k, not sure if that means $100, or $1,000 ![Icon Wink](https://dodgeforum.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
I had two dealers mention that the "dealer incentive" ends tonight at 9pm, and that I needed to act quick. I'm sure these deals won't be around forever, but I'm not ready to buy tonight. I need a few more days of researching these trucks.
Another mentioned that the incentives are changing tonight, and will probably be better than what they are now.![Icon Shrug](https://dodgeforum.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_shrug.gif)
I guess I'll wait and see....

On NADA's website it quotes a 1978 Jeep CJ5 Renegade which I don't have. Mine was a base model and the Renegade was slightly more expensive. Also, I did have the AMC 304. With how I described the Jeep and after reading the description of the Low/Average/High Retail Value my Jeep was definitely a Low Retail Value. It was used as a DD, the body looked nice on the outside but that was it, the engine is on it's last leg and there are no doors, tops or extra tires. The Low value for the Jeep is 3300. So, no I did not pay $31,870. I paid 24,999.01 which means they gave me 8885.99 in discounts/incentives. They told me they would pay me 12,185 for the Jeep unseen and I didn't believe it. However, when I brought it by they kept to the numbers. I was just happy they met my demand for a $25,000 truck out the door.

My truck stickered for 32K, I got it for 22K + TTL and the MaxCare Warranty, so I guess you could say I got 10K off sticker. But after browsing over at the fat Wallet site, I'd have to say THIS is the best deal I ever heard of ($19K off sticker)........

We just bought a dodge ram 1500 with a sticker price of $38,000 and after the price dealing, $5,000 in rebates (an extra $500 if you go through a credit union), and the $4,500 we got off from the clunker deal, we paid $21,000 out the door. that was $19,000 off the sticker price. the clunker program is a great deal.
The clunker deal is the new deal the govenrment gives you if you trade in an old high MPG vehicle, she said she traded in a 1995 suburban that the frame had rusted through and had a leaky oil pan as well......HD

My 2009 TRX4 cc stickered for 43000.00 I got it for 28000.00, no trade in. No kidding 15000.00 off sticker. I told the dealer if they throw in the the 175.00 rubber floor mats it was a done deal. They said OK. It wasnt my first choice for the color I wanted but I could not turn down that kind of a deal. My truck is deep water blue with the mineral grey, I wanted the bright silver with mineral grey. Now that I have the truck I realy like the color It just shows the dirt more than the silver would have. I bought my truck November 18th and love it! I wanted the 2009 over the 2010 due to the lifetime powertrain warranty and the big discounts on the 2009s. I guess what I am saying is if you do a little checking and searching and are willing to buy a new ram that does not have 100% of the exact options that you are looking for there are some awesome deals out there right now.

Little bit of an old thread to dig up, but sure. I'm paying $34k on an MSRP of $42k, no trade in, but still have to pay TTL when I pick the truck up in a couple weeks. I'm curious about what deerex said about the lifetime powertrain warranty on the 09s - I got that on my 2010, so I'm not sure what they told you, but it's still there for 2010. 7 year/70,000 mile warranty + lifetime powertrain.

If you bought that 2010 truck thinking you were getting the lifetime powertrain warranty I would do some checking because the 2010s dont have it. Maby I am wrong but a number of different dealers told me so and it says it on the dodge site. http://www.dodge.com/en/2010/ram_150...lity/warranty/
If my dealer told me that and he was B Sing me I would raise a little hell. Good luck.
