Deerex is correct. The warranty changed for 2010, no more lifetime on the powertrain. But the new one is now transferable where the lifetime was not.

In my opinion, it is not as great as it sounds. Only mechanical items are covered in the drivetrain. For example, if the computer that controls the engine or tranny goes out, it is not covered under the lifetime. But internal parts are, provided you have the regular service performed at the scheduled times and have your vehicle inspected by a Dodge dealer at least every 5 years to maintain the warranty.

I know that sucks you have to have the 5 year service or the warranty is no good. I can be a forgetful person, I told my wife the other day i think I am going to put a fancy reminder in a picture frame above my desk so I do not forget. LOL Some how I dont think Dodge is gonna call or send me a letter to remind me.

Just reread the paperwork...still has a 7 year / 70k warranty, doesn't say **** about the lifetime powertrain though...oh well. Was only planning on keeping this truck about 10 years anyway.

Since someone dug up a old post please note.... What was going prices almost a year ago does not mean it applies now. 10s are already cheaper on the sticker. You are probably better served to open a new post asking how much are you paying for your 2010

So the prices on '09's are in the 10-15k off range again?

I would say that is a very true statement if the sticker is between 35000.00 to 43000.00. I got 15000.00 off and mine stickered for 43000.00. Maby you could get more than that if you play your cards right. I was screwing around for the last month and a half dealing to get mine. The selection on the 2009s is getting down there as the deals are hot for basically the same truck as the 2010s
