Default Adding front tow hooks to an '09 SLT ?

I'm trying to add factory tow hooks to my '09 SLT. Is this a simple bolt-on procedure? I've been reading a few threads and some have said that some bumper will not accept factory tow hooks.

Anyone have a link or a part # for the front tow hooks ?

Thanks,
HG

I put them on mine. Pretty simple install. Instructions are included and so is the hardware. You will have to cut out your existing black trim piece in the bumper or order one that has the holes in it. I didnt like the price but these things are huge, there is alot more to that tow hook that you cant see once installed.

Here are some pics. The one under the truck shows the mounting of the hooks. You still keep the trim piece but you have to trim it out for the hooks.

ya why not you will have to cut out the plastic like you can see in the third pic of bparent's post. I was thinking of cutting out that whole thing and replace with powder coated black screening of some type lets more air in there to keep things cool but....i am not gonna. I think the hook might be on the wrong way in your pic, i thought the hooks face out not in so you can hook a chain between them?? JMHO

Good call. I was so excited when I put them on I never noticed. I will change them right now. Thanks for the keen eye.
